Dr. Jonathan Leightner

Dr. Leightner has been a professor of Economics at Georgia Regents University for over 20 years. He is an Asian specialist, who has also taught at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand and ​Seikei University in Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Leightner's current research focuses on the causes and consequences of financial crises. His hobbies include wood-working, bonsai, and the game of "Go", an ancient Chinese board game.

Dr. Jurgen Brauer

 

Dr. Brauer has taught at Georgia Regents University for more than 20 years. His area of focus is Peace Economics. He has visiting professorships/ fellowships at several universities, including: Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia, and the Institute for Economy and Peace in Sydney, Australia. He is coeditor for both The Economics of Peace and Security Journal and Routledge Studies in Defence and Peace Economics. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving and travel.
